Artist Collaboration Gabriel Dubois

If you ask Nicole why she collaborates with an artist every season, her answer is 'Why not? I love art and I like mixing those two mediums together in a creative way that is both interesting for us and for our clients. Also we get a chance to have original prints that aren't just typical which makes it more fun, plus who doesn't get inspired by art?"

For Fall Winter 2014 Nicole choose to work with Berlin-based artist Gabriel Dubois, using one of his paintings to create original custom prints for silk pants, tops, dresses and scarves. The one 'Original' painting was initially transformed for the 55 piece collection into 8 different colors variations which were then narrowed down to the flour prints you can see in-store and online.

Nicole felt that Gabriel's work tied in nicely to her inspiration for the collection 'I am enough'. "Focusing on all the ways I feel i am not enough has never inspired me. When I am enough I can move forward in grace and live to my fullest potential. I am deserving and worthy of my dreams. And so are you, in this moment. I also choose Gabriel because his modern street aesthetic portrays a raw depth which is needed when on the journey to discovering we are enough"
