Bright & Beautiful Wedding Collaboration

Posted: Jul 09 2014

On a very magical evening down at Jericho Beach, 5 local kick ass entrepreneurs modeled some of our dresses as part of a Wedding Collaboration photo shoot.  The intention of our “Wedding Season” shoot was to illustrate how wonderful our dresses can be for a bridal party. However, when you have gorgeous, inspiring and intelligent women all dolled up, it’s impossible not to get photos of each on their own. Absolutely stunning in our bright and bold Summer 2014 colours, not only are they beautiful, but also the beauty of what they do and who they are can’t help but shine through.

Photography: Jamie Lauren Photography

We were very honored when Jamie came on board to work with us. Jamie is one of the most sought after photographers in town and her shots speak for themselves. She prides herself on being able to capture true personalities…and even “camera personalities” that may not otherwise show on a day-to-day basis, most often resulting in moments that feel natural and look absolutely beautiful. Jamie was a real pro to work with, she took control of the shoot and made the whole experience very easy and fun for everyone involved.

Anyone familiar with the Vancouver’s food truck scene has probably already heard of Culver City Salads. Christina Culver is the mastermind behind this food truck’s cult following, offering up a selection of delicious vegan salads, packed with loads of colourful vegetables and proteins, and always fresh. Dressings are made from scratch, gluten free and vegan. They work with local farms, whole ingredients, and strive to be as sustainable as possible, using only 100% compostable packaging. Recently Culver City Salads reached their fundraising goal on indiegogo to get a solar-powered food truck. #Welldone!

We have been a fan of Erin Ireland for a long time now - we love her amazing restaurant recommendations in the city. As contributing food reporter for 102.7 The Peak , Shaw TV’s The Rush, and CTV Morning Live, Erin is grateful to lead a career centered around her absolute passion. The avid home cook and baker is also the creator of To Die For Banana Bread and Lemon Loaf, two gourmet loaves made with high-quality ingredients that can be found in and around Vancouver. Erin was a real sweetheart to work with and we also enjoyed that her dog Effie was in attendance for the shoot.
